Neben den großen Preisen, wie dem Oscar, für die Harry Potter und der Halbblutprinz nominiert ist, gibt es auch einen Award für ein ganz besonderes Genre. Die Academy für Science Fiction, Fantasy und Horrorfilme hat die Nominierten für 36. Saturn Awards bekannt gegeben. Die Verleihung findet am 24. Juni in Burbanks statt.
Das "Avatar - Aufbruch nach Pandora" mit insgesamt 10 Nominierungen ganz oben auf der Favoriten-Liste steht, ist keine Überraschung. 

 

Aber auch "Sherlock Holmes" mit 8 Nominierungen, "Watchmen" mit 7 Nominierungen und "Star Trek" mit insgesamt 6 Nominierungen haben ziemlich gute Chancen. "The Vampire Diaries", "New Moon", "Lost" und "Harry Potter und der Halbblutprinz" stehen zwar nicht auf der Favoriten-Liste, sind aber ebenfalls nominiert, genau wie "Dr. Who". Wir werden sehen, wer einen der begehrten Preise mit nach Hause nehmen kann.

Wenn er böse ist, ist er unwiderstehlich...

Der amerikanische Fernsehsender CNN hat sich für Fans des Lucius-Malfoy-Darstellers Jason Isaacs etwas besonderes ausgedacht. 

Interessierte Fans können ihn nun mit Fragen bombardieren indem sie einfach nur einen Kommentar mit einer Frage unter dieser Meldung von CNN hinterlassen und mit ein bisschen Glück beantwortet Jason dann diese  Frage.

Außerdem landete Jason auf der Liste von "Hollywood's 10 Most Eeeeevil Actors", die von Moviefone erstellt wurde, auf dem 6. Platz, den er sich auch als "Voldemorts herrlich bösen Todesser – mit großartigen Haaren – Lucius Malfoy" verdient hat. Auf der selben Liste konnte Gary Oldman den 9. Platz ergattern, denn "selbst seine 'guten' Rollen, sind ein bisschen auf der dunklen Seite, so wie Harry Potters Patenonkel Sirius Black."

Den 1. Platz konnte aber unser allseits beliebter Meister der Zaubertränke für sich entscheiden. Zu Alan Rickman heißt es:

Vielleicht ist es die tiefe und eindrucksvolle Stimme, oder weil er einen fiesen Spott besitzt, aber Rickman ist immer bereit, einen bösen Charakter zu spielen. Er hat den schleimigen und scheinbar verräterischen Severus Snape in den Harry-Potter-Filmen unvergesslich dargestellt, ebenso den habgierigen und perversen Richter Turpin in "Sweeney Todd" und den Terroristen Hans Gruber im ursprünglichen "Die Hard". Wir lieben Rickman, wenn er gut ist, aber wenn er böse ist, ist er unwiderstehlich.
